Prayer Intentions

At a Sacramentum (Community Gathering held every 6-8 weeks), it became clear that many of our brothers and sisters draw on each other for strength during times of difficulty. During our meeting the idea of asking for prayer intentions on the web site was suggested and we were all in agreement that this would be a great way for us all to support each other. If you have an intention for which you would like assistance with prayer, please email me your prayer intention with your name, parish, and a stop date and I will post it here. Intentions otherwise will have a default removal date of 2 weeks.
Please submit your intentions by email to: webmaster@sacramentors.org and they will be posted here.

Jesus said to them in reply, "Have faith in God. Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours." Matthew 21:22-24

Please include the following intentions in your prayers:

Don Grainer - SacraMentor - All Saints Parish 1-28-06

I learned earlier this evening that my uncle Bob, ninety years old in Hawaii is suffering from cancer is his pancreas and brain and has suffered much.  So much that he just wants to die.  He's been a loyal Catholic all his life and lost his wife several years ago.  He is pretty much alone now.  Please keep him in your prayers.
Also, my aunt Sister Marie at Mt Angel, OR, a retired nun of fifty years, will undergo surgery for breast cancer on Tuesday the 31st.  Remember her in your prayers as well.
Thank you all and God's blessings to each of you.

Cyndie Ulrich - Sacramentor - 12/06/05

Thank you for joining with me to pray for God's healing presence within two different personal intentions.

Steve Egge - Sacramentor - St. Andrew - 08/25/05

Our SacraMentor Brother Frank Frey has been quietly battling recurrent lymphoma since diagnosis in 1999. This was shortly after Frank became a SacraMentor. Despite his illness Frank took on the responsibility of Parish Coordinator and Trainer and has helped out numerous times in presenting the SacraMentor Series to fellow brothers. He has witnessed to the comfort he has been afforded by his renewed relationship with Jesus as a result of his involvement with SacraMentors. Currently Frank has had a recurrence once again of the lymphoma and will be undergoing a stem cell transplant. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Bill Waugh - Sacramentor - St. Vincent de Paul/St. Andrew - 12/31/04

I am sending this message to ask for prayers for my mother who has recently found out that she has a recurrence of colon cancer. A couple of years ago, she had surgery to remove a tumor and chemotherapy to treat any residual cells. She has been free of it until now and it has spread to lymph nodes in her stomach. It appears to inoperable and incurable. I ask that you pray for her and my father who are both doing their best to deal with this.
